DESCRIPTION:La mostra antologica di Dante Sambuchi è un viaggio attraverso quattro decenni di ricerca ininterrotta\, dalla pittura alla sperimentazione materica fino all’arte interattiva. Gli anni Ottanta e Novanta restituiscono un artista attento al mondo che lo circonda: le città europee\, i cantieri\, gli impianti industriali\, le periferie milanesi e i viaggi in Spagna e Francia diventano soggetti di una pittura a olio densa\, poetica e mai banale. Con gli anni Duemila Sambuchi abbandona il pennello senza abbandonare la ricerca: juta\, cerniere\, fili\, bottoni\, elastici e oggetti trovati prendono il posto del colore\, componendo opere che interrogano la materia\, lo spazio e il confine stesso tra pittura e scultura. L’ultima stagione è quella dell’arte interattiva: luci LED\, magneti\, elementi mobili e superfici semovibili trasformano ogni opera in un organismo aperto\, che cambia forma e significato con il gesto e la presenza del visitatore. Una carriera che non si è mai fermata\, sempre in dialogo con il proprio tempo. \nDante Sambuchi’s anthological exhibition is a journey through four decades of uninterrupted artistic research\, from painting to material experimentation to interactive art. The Eighties and Nineties reveal an artist deeply attuned to the world around him: European cities\, construction sites\, industrial plants\, Milanese suburbs\, and travels through Spain and France become the subjects of an oil painting that is dense\, poetic\, and never predictable. In the 2000s\, Sambuchi sets aside the brush without abandoning his inquiry: burlap\, zippers\, threads\, buttons\, elastic bands\, and found objects take the place of colour\, composing works that question matter\, space\, and the very boundary between painting and sculpture. His most recent period is that of interactive art: LED lights\, magnets\, movable elements\, and repositionable surfaces transform each work into an open organism\, one that changes form and meaning with the gesture and presence of the viewer. A career that has never stood still\, always in dialogue with its own time.
